Jaurojira

Type: Mystical Art

Practitioners: Jaurojiri

Realms: Duraeth, Juxaeth, Okrath

States: Yara Thumen, Lyra Ohnem, Myr Zaluku

Related: Umzoi, Rhovask

Jaurojira is the ancient art of manipulating life, matter, and thought through the manipulation of jauorji, the fundamental pulse that flows from Djah and permeates all reality. As a comprehensive discipline, jaurojira encompasses multiple approaches to working with jauorji, including state-based practices, Umzoi (ceremonial practices), and Rhovask Kutengeneza (object crafting). Practitioners of this art, known as jaurojiri, may specialize in one approach or study multiple methodologies within the art.

Term

The word "jaurojira" derives from jauorji (the pulse itself) and translates roughly to "the art of the pulse" or "pulse-working." As the comprehensive art of working with jauorji, jaurojira encompasses multiple distinct methodologies:

  • State-based practices - The core methodology requiring practitioners to achieve specific altered states of consciousness (Yara Thumen, Lyra Ohnem, Myr Zaluku) and maintain them with precision

  • Umzoi - Ceremonial gestures, chants, and movements that call upon spirits, deities, or powerful frequencies through formalized traditional practices, requiring only baseline jauorji sensitivity

  • Rhovask Kutengeneza - The craft technique of creating self-sustaining objects through technical structuring of jauorji according to Rhovask principles, operating independently of the three states

The state-based methodology is considered the most difficult to master, which explains why many umzou (Umzoi practitioners) never progress to state-based work despite their existing sensitivity to jauorji. Similarly, master crafters of Rhovask Kutengeneza may not practice state-based techniques at all, as the two methodologies operate on fundamentally different principles.

The Three Realms

Jaurojira operates across three fundamental realms of existence:

Duraeth (The Internal Realm)

Duraeth encompasses the body, self, and inner life. This is the realm where all jaurojiri begin their practice, as it is the most accessible and safest to work within. Achieving Wasira in Duraeth is the prerequisite for entering Yara Thumen, the attunement state that forms the foundation of all jaurojira.

Juxaeth (The External Realm)

Juxaeth is the physical world including matter, external reality, and everything outside the self. Influencing Juxaeth requires progressing to Lyra Ohnem and achieving union through either Uxorim or Yirami. This is where jaurojiri demonstrate their ability to affect the material world.

Okrath (The Astral Realm)

Okrath represents mind, thought and consciousness. This realm is the most dangerous to navigate but offers the greatest potential for creation through Myr Zaluku. Traversing Okrath safely requires mastery of Djah-ziakh.

The Three States

Yara Thumen (The Attunement State)

The foundational state of all jaurojira, Yara Thumen is achieved by establishing Wasira in Duraeth. In this state, practitioners perceive and attune to the flow of jauorji within themselves and potentially in their surroundings. All modulation techniques (Thurek, Bakhren, Zakhem) become available for use on the practitioner's own internal jauorji when in Yara Thumen.

Lyra Ohnem (The Impression State)

The intermediate state, Lyra Ohnem, allows practitioners to influence and impress upon jauorji in realms beyond themselves. Achieving this state requires:

  • First achieving Yara Thumen

  • Establishing Wasira in the target realm

  • Achieving frequency alignment

  • Establishing union through either Uxorim (sacrifice/transaction) or Yirami (fusing/merging)

Important: Uxorim and Yirami are mutually exclusive. A practitioner must choose their path to union, and this choice fundamentally shapes their relationship with what they're influencing.

Myr Zaluku (The Manifestation State)

The rarest and most advanced state, Myr Zaluku exists only in Okrath and enables practitioners to create and manifest through jauorji. This state is the prerequisite for Janikizuli, the technique of making thought physically real by exporting creations from Okrath into Juxaeth.

Connection Principles

Wasira (Clarity)

Wasira is the principle of clear intent and focus. Without Wasira, states cannot be achieved and targets cannot be properly perceived. Mastering Wasira is often considered the true dividing line between those who dabble in jauorji sensitivity and true jaurojiri.

Uxorim (Sacrifice)

Uxorim is one of two paths to union in Lyra Ohnem. It operates through transactional exchange—giving something to receive the ability to influence. This path maintains a clear distinction between practitioner and target, making it more suitable for working with inanimate matter or when distance is desired.

Yirami (Fuse)

Yirami is the alternative path to union, achieved through merging rather than transaction. Unlike Uxorim, Yirami creates a deep connection between practitioner and target. This path is required for Spiritbinding and is often how Nyzobi (emotionally bonded talismans) form, sometimes unconsciously over long periods of close contact.

Modulation Techniques

These three techniques allow practitioners to alter jauorji flow once a state is achieved. Importantly, modulation techniques cannot be used in isolation—they require active engagement with Yara Thumen (for one's own jauorji) or Lyra Ohnem (for external jauorji).

Thurek (Control)

Directs where and how jauorji flows, like channeling water through specific paths.

Bakhren (Reduce)

Diminishes or dampens the intensity of jauorji, useful for calming, stabilizing, or weakening.

Zakhem (Amplify)

Strengthens or intensifies jauorji, used for enhancement, healing, or empowerment.

Specialized Techniques

Djah-ziakh

Djah-ziakh enables safe traversal of ancestral memory and dream planes within Okrath. It can be practiced two ways:

  • Direct (Yara Thumen): More personal and powerful, but harder and far more dangerous

  • Anchor-mediated (Lyra Ohnem): Using another person or object as an anchor makes the journey safer, easier, and more specific, though less deeply personal

Spiritbinding

Spiritbinding creates sustained connections with non-mortal consciousness through Yirami in the Lyra Ohnem state. This technique enables communication, influence, or partnership with spirits, and is especially important for forming bonds with guardian spirits. Spiritbinding can be performed in both Juxaeth and Okrath, and the requirement of Yirami (rather than Uxorim) reflects the merged nature of the relationship being formed.

Janikizuli

The rarest and most difficult technique in all of jaurojira, Janikizuli is available only to those who have achieved Myr Zaluku in Okrath. It allows practitioners to export creations from the realm of thought and manifest them physically in Juxaeth—literally making thought real. The extreme difficulty of both achieving Myr Zaluku and performing Janikizuli means that only the most accomplished jaurojiri ever succeed in this technique.

Path to Mastery

Because jaurojira encompasses multiple methodologies, the path to mastery varies depending on which approach a practitioner pursues:

State-Based Mastery

For state-based practices, mastery is measured by the speed, accuracy, and consistency with which a practitioner can achieve and maintain states. A master can slip into Yara Thumen in an instant, maintain Lyra Ohnem for extended periods without wavering, and achieve the frequency alignments necessary for their work with minimal effort.

Many students spend years simply learning to achieve Yara Thumen reliably. Progressing to Lyra Ohnem may take years more, and most practitioners never achieve Myr Zaluku in their lifetime. This progression explains the rarity of certain techniques and the reverence with which master practitioners are regarded.

Cross-Methodology Practice

Many jaurojiri practice multiple methodologies within the art. It's common for state-based practitioners to also practice Umzoi, finding that the ceremonial structure can complement their state-work. However, the reverse progression is rare—few umzou advance to state-based practices due to the significant skill gap between baseline jauorji sensitivity and the mastery required to achieve and maintain the three states.

Rhovask Kutengeneza masters may focus exclusively on their craft, as it operates according to different principles than state-based work. Some of the greatest Tekborn creators have never achieved Yara Thumen, demonstrating that excellence in one methodology doesn't require mastery of all approaches within jaurojira.
