Chinchiniri are a species of Freecaste creatures that serve as messengers for jaurojiri practitioners throughout the world of Djah. Possessing an extraordinary suite of abilities—including speech mimicry and shapeshifting—they are simultaneously among the most valuable and most frustrating beings a practitioner can work with.

Unlike most Freecaste who can form sustained partnerships through Spiritbinding, chinchiniri remain fundamentally unbindable. No successful Yirami fusion between a chinchiniri and jaurojiri has ever been recorded, making them impossible to truly control or understand. Every interaction is a gamble between their potential utility and their unpredictable nature.
